How it works

VA will not reimburse you for the following fees:

  • Fees associated with pretests (such as Kaplan tests)
  • Fees to receive scores quickly
  • Optional items not required to take an approved test

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
  • DSST (DANTES Subject Standardized Tests)
  • ECE (Excelsior College Examinations)
